Like every indoor playground, it’s noisy and at times chaotic, but Balls of Fun presents a twist on the genre, with 7,000 square feet dedicated to bouncing, catching, dribbling, throwing and kicking. Equipment rotates monthly, so on any given visit you may encounter four-foot-tall basketball hoops as well as fittingly large-scale soccer nets and games for practising aim. The action takes place around a large climbing structure with a pair of lightening-fast slides and a ball pit. Parents can supervise toddlers and special needs children in a separate area that’s outfitted with equipment for crawlers and new walkers. A birthday party for 10 kids is $265, which includes the use of a well-appointed party room. Ages: six months to eight years.
Hours:
Tu–Su 9:30–7:30
How much:
Unlimited play $9 per child; six-time pass $45; annual membership, one child $400, each additional child $200.
