The wheels on this travelling art bus go all the way around to your door for a no-fuss party, complete with an art instructor and an hour-long craft project. Budding creatives (age three and up) can play with clay, paint picture frames or stuff their own teddy bears. Tie-dye T-shirts and pillowcases, decorated wooden stepstools and glammed-up initials made of wood are other options. The birthday child is encouraged to leave a permanent mark on the bus via a painted handprint. Other party packages can be booked at Messy Hand’s 2,000-square-foot art studio—where activities take place inside a retired bus—and can include food, cake, invitations and loot bags. Art classes, school programs, yoga classes, a drop-in play service and a summer camp are also run out of the studio. Ages: three years and up.
