Atmosphere and service are no-nonsense at this well-established baby gear depot, situated on ragged Kingston Road. White walls and fluorescent light strips may be perfunctory, but they do the job and help to keep prices a smidge lower than the competition. A legion of strollers are on display; among the 60 models are well-known brands Maclaren, Peg-Pérego, Zooper and Quinny, as well as buggies from Phil & Ted, Bob, Bumble Ride, I’coo and Joovy. The rest of the store is taken up by a generous range of car seats (by Britax, Peg-Pérego, Graco and Sunshine Kids), and a range of cribs from $369 to about $650. Keep an eye out for manufacturers’ furniture clear-outs, such as a simple honey-toned crib that was marked down to $249. Stroller repairs are done on-site. Delivery from $50.
