Celebrity trainer Andrea Page started up this nationwide series of fitness rescue programs after struggling through postpartum depression, severe weight gain, and a series of frustratingly dumbed-down fitness classes. Held by certified fitness instructors at four locations in Toronto, Fitmom—though dads are welcome—programs include pre- and postnatal fitness classes (yoga and stroller classes, too) that incorporate children up to age three (often as resistance weights). Prepare to shed excess weight in 40 Days to Fit Mom, a new one-on-one boot camp that includes five personal training sessions and daily interaction to ensure accountability. Sign up for twice-weekly free e-mail advice on workouts and nutrition at sister Web site www.newmom101.ca.
