If you feel like a slave to the washing machine, consider the Comfy Cotton staff, who process some four million pounds of soiled nappies every year. Once a week, the company picks up your baby’s dirty goods, washes them thoroughly and returns with soft, white diapers. Signing up one month prior to your due date is recommended.

- 70 infant diapers $16 per week, plus $40 sign-up fee (reimbursed after a year)
