Back when husband and wife co-owners Simon and Tina Gray dreamed up this stylish boutique, it was nearly impossible to track down cool duds in Toronto for their own two youngsters. As a result, most of the designer label clothing, shoes and accessories are imported from New York and Los Angeles, as well as other more exotic locales. Adorable knit knapsacks (featuring pig, butterfly, frog or ladybug faces, $60) are courtesy of Peruvian manufacturer Blabla, while Tsukihoshi runners (in flashy patterns with an ingenious antibacterial insole, from $64) come from Japan. Pint-sized adult-style denim is available from True Religion and Earnest Sewn (both $142–$239). Other hot brands include Splendid Littles’ softer-than-soft Pima cotton clothing (including onesies, tunics and dresses), and footwear from Pediped, whose top-selling first walking shoes can be hard to find elsewhere.
