Randolph nurtures the budding stage talent of Toronto’s youth, offering after-school and weekend programs in acting, singing and dance. From ballet to hip hop, dance classes cater to kids as young as Grade 1 (in Broadway Babies, toddlers learn dance steps to music from famous musicals). Kids 10 to 18 years old can audition for the Young Company, which mounts three full-scale musicals per year, while stage-struck high school grads try out for the college, a three-year program that leads to a diploma. Randolph grads have appeared in the Broadway casts of The Lion King and Mamma Mia!, as well as at Stratford and Shaw.
