Randolph nurtures the budding stage talent of Toronto’s youth, offering after-school and weekend programs in acting, singing and dance. Dance classes from ballet to hip hop cater to kids as young as three years old; in Broadway Babies, toddlers learn dance steps to music from famous musicals. Kids eight to 18 years old can audition for the Randolph Young Company, which mounts three full-scale musicals per year, while stage-struck high school grads try out for the college, a two-year program that leads to a diploma. Randolph grads have appeared in the Broadway casts of The Lion King and Mamma Mia!, as well as at Stratford and Shaw.

Hours:
M–F 8 a.m.–9 p.m.; Sa–Su hours vary.
How much:
Pre-college, $240–$1,500 per year; college, $8,500 per eight-month period.
