Drop in and get muddy at the Open Clay Studio, the Gardiner’s popular pottery classes. Kids must be over five years old and accompanied by an adult. Students (maximum of 35; first-come, first-served) can work on their own or with instruction. Clays, kilns and glazes are provided, as well as nine throwing wheels and plenty of professional advice.
Hours:
F 6–8 p.m., Su 1–3 p.m; July and March break camps available
How much:
12 years and under $5, plus $3 for firing; over 12 years $10, plus $3 for firing per session; one-week camp $150–$200, includes firing and materials.
