Children come to this cozy Victorian mansion for programs in art, music, dance and drama. Toddlers and their parents make music and lots of messy mixed-media projects; in the Kinder Arts program, tykes three to five years old explore various themes (the environment, world culture) as they create. Older kids choose from a variety of weekly classes, ranging from the tried-and-true (pottery, painting) to the more adventurous (architecture, cartooning, musical theatre).
Hours:
Sept. to June, M–Su; birthday parties, March break and summer camps available.
How much:
$250–$385 per fall, winter or spring term; Kinder Arts $1,200 per year; birthday parties $22 per child (12 to 16 children); summer camps and classes $160–$655.
