Drapes and Sew Much More

Colin and Justin, Chris and Steven, and the new crop of Designer Guys have all had work done here. But showbiz clientele aside, regular folks are the meat and potatoes of this unassuming Parkdale atelier. Everything is made to order on-site. Amid the whirring of sewing machines, a pair of consultants—who also make house calls—work on narrowing down style and fabric options. A covering for the average living room window is $1,500 for fabric, labour, hardware and installation, and will take three to four weeks. Walk-ins are accommodated, but appointments are preferred.
