This welcoming shop attracts writers, artists, curators and other creative folk with an artistic bent. Everything is custom made, and owner Madonna Philip insists on coming to your home to make sure the treatment is suitable for the window in question. Outfitting a medium-size four-by-six-foot window might cost you anywhere from $74 for standard metal venetian blinds to $120 for pleated shades to $400-plus for lined, pleated draperies made of cotton or linen. Textiles come from Kravet, Maxwell and Joanne; there are also fabrics and wallpaper designed by William Morris and Nina Campbell.
