The Montreal lighting manufacturer has risen from humble beginnings (rumor has it the company’s founder used to hock lamps from home) to become a major producer of ultra-modern sconces and recessed lights. The gallery-like Toronto showroom is decorated in Bauhaus-inspired luminous objects by house designers, and clean Italian lines (think iGuzzini and Simes) that share the company’s architectural aesthetic. Notables include the Blade sconce (from $310), with its round brushed-aluminum case and one, two or four slots of light, depending on the model. The Boomerang ceiling fixture ranges from $250 to $3,025 and resembles something from a movie set, with its clustered lights suspended by an aluminum support arm.
