Seriously serious about Venetian art glass and chandeliers, proprietors Ron and Diane Ennis save their deepest devotion for Mur-ano pieces, particularly collections from the master house Venini (for which they have the Canadian exclusive). Inside a space full of sparkling light, the piece that calls out loudest is Venini’s Circo di Lune (from $9,000), a metal-framed suspension of hand-blown coloured spheres in a variety of sizes. From other merchants of Venice—including such names as Arcade, Stefano Toso and Simone Cenedese—come vases and vessels that are more sculptural than functional. Amarynth also sells sterling silverware made by artists, including a tree-inspired candelabra ($4,850) by Milan’s De Vecchi.
