If watching the Food Network has left you with a case of appliance envy, follow the signs to the clearance room. No typical scratch-and-dent depot (few items are damaged), Caplan’s sells new goods, manufacturers’ overstock, end-of-line items and former floor models. Top-drawer brands on offer include Bosch, KitchenAid, Gaggenau and Wolf. The Caplans recently purchased an entire trade show display—ovens, ranges, dishwashers and fridges—and sold everything at wholesale prices.
