Holly Dyment Design

A former graphic designer, artist and faux-finisher, Holly Dyment is not the neutrals type, so don’t ask for beige. Think of her as the design equivalent of the brass section of a band—if you want bursts of fuchsia, pistachio, aqua and lilac, then she’s your woman. Dyment has studied colour therapy; for her own house, she covered a table in pink and gold sari fabric, set it with delicate crystal vessels and cast it against boldly patterned pomegranate-motif wallpaper. Her living room features pink 1940s cut-velvet chairs, crimson lampshades and a bright red sofa set against chartreuse walls.
