From Aspen to the Caribbean, Brian Gluckstein’s portfolio of design jobs tilts toward high-end styles and big budgets. Famous from his appearances on CityLine and his housewares line for the Bay, Gluck-stein doesn’t do small. He has done both commercial (the new spa at the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach) and residential work. He likes to be involved with projects from the beginning, before construction or renovation, so he can enhance the architecture. His signature style is a mix of classical and modern perspectives done in a refined, usually monochromatic palette. Colour comes from art and antique rugs, while contrast is created with various textures—including velvets, linens, corduroys and suedes.
