New products that will soon be in every student’s dorm are test-marketed at this shimmery store. You’ll find Karim Rashid’s signature garbage can, of course, plus bathroom and kitchen fixtures (some made of eco-friendly bamboo), plenty of drapery, and a plethora of photo frames and albums. Store exclusives include such soft goods as 400-thread-count Slumbra sheets (queen set, $45); a new line of wallpapers; and pricier U Plus goods, made of more durable materials—the Magino line of acrylic stools and tables (up to $735) features cheekily curved legs for storing magazines.
