Shelves here teem with all the top names in kitchen gear. Pots and pans by All-Clad (“the Mercedes-Benz of cookware,” according to one clerk) are sure to impress serious cooks, but staff are quick to note that less-pricey Cuisinox boasts a similarly strong aluminum and stainless steel construction. Other options include non-stick pans by Swiss Diamond, which feature actual diamond dust in the finish for extra durability. For alternatives to non-stick, there’s heavy-duty cast iron cookware by Lodge, and the venerable Le Creuset. Also look for colourful bakeware and tagines by Emile Henry. The knife cabinet houses some impressive weaponry by top Japanese brands Mac, Global and Kasumi. Style-conscious chefs will proudly wield cutting tools in candy-floss hues by Japan-based Kai. Pepper mills by Peugeot, small appliances by Cuisinart, and myriad accessories by Good Grips and Trudeau round out the offerings.
