This Chinatown institution’s long, fluorescent-lit shelves are crammed with everything needed to outfit a first apartment or even a restaurant. Start with the plastic storage tubs out front ($1.69–$15) and make your way in to the massive, dusty array of industrial steel pots (from $9). An hour or two later you’ll have browsed through baskets and Buddha statuary, cutlery and cutting boards. Brands range from the big-name to the basic, with some labels in Mandarin. Choice item: a 14-cup Cuisinart coffee maker ($90).
