As new stock arrives at this posh Avenue Road store, end-of-season tableware and orphaned linens make their way down to the no-frills basement, where prices are slashed by about 40 per cent. With so many bits and pieces, this is a mix-and-matcher’s dream. Complete sets, however, can be found: past offerings have included a 16-piece white fine-bone china dinner set by Rhubarb at $80 (regularly $130). Another find: brightly coloured Leonardo drinking glasses in a variety of sizes ($8–$10 each); and a large selection of glass vases ($12–$25).
