This east-end shop will accommodate any glass request—windows, tabletops, even balustrades—but nearly one-third of its business involves building all-glass showers. Besides being easy to maintain, glass is often a shrewd decorative touch. “Glass gives you an openness,” says proprietor Ed Ewaskiw. “It makes rooms look bigger.” Too true—just ask the owners of Toronto’s Lilliputian condo units, who have been keeping Metropolitan busy.
