While you may not find avant-garde design here, quality is high, and the knowledgeable staff include landscape and floral designers, and plant specialists. Native shrubs (such as hardy saskatoon berry), perennial grasses and wildflowers get the nod. Pre-planted balcony boxes and urns filled with a variety of colourful perennials and annuals (12-inch inserts from $79) are an easy solution for the non-gardener. For detailed planning, staff can arrange a home visit with a designer (from $140), who can advise on such projects as patios and water features.
