This garden centre is one of only a handful close to downtown. Owner Greg Carducci hand-picks almost every plant (in the spring, stock arrives daily by the truckload) and tries to choose unusual blooms not available at big-box competitors. Come May, the property is bursting with annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, native plants and aquatics. In the winter, the lot turns decidedly festive with almost 1,000 Christmas trees up for grabs, along with garlands, wreaths, poinsettias and other holiday decorations.
