Teatro Verde

Catering more to well-heeled garden lovers than to actual garden diggers, this Yorkville boutique has an eclectic mix of traditional (classical statuary) and modern (black and white glazed pots) decor and accessories. This year the focus is on such eco-friendly items as recycled glass votive holders, and nature-inspired pieces that include carved wood frames and birdhouses. For the horticulturally challenged, the shop has an impressive array of silk trees and florals, from gorgeous Japanese maples to elegant tabletop arrangements of tightly packed white roses. Fresh flower arrangements are, of course, a specialty, and floral designer Michael Pellegrino makes use of such rare and exotic blooms as cymbidium orchids and twisting sapla branches.
