The big-box chains might be cheaper, but this 25,000-square-foot facility can’t be beaten for selection and expertise. In business for 26 years, the store features well over 100 barbecue models—propane, electric, charcoal, natural gas, pellet—plus accessories and replacement parts. Featured brands include Broil King, Big Green Egg, Weber, Lynx, DCS and Viking. New products include the delux FireMagic BBQ ($15,000), which has a handy remote control to lift the lid. And for those purists who still believe old-fashioned smokers are the way to go, look for Horizon’s horizontal models ($850–$1,800), with such features as an offset firebox grill and a vertical smoking chamber. Products from around the globe are available in the Charcoals of the World room. If a high-end barbecue doesn’t provide enough heat for your backyard, Ontario Gas BBQ also carries outdoor fireplaces and patio heaters.
