Housed in a 1900s converted bank, this sophisticated shop specializes in fresh floral design (their arrangements grace the lobbies of many of the city’s big hotels), but owner Irene Makeeff Peters also does a roaring trade in garden-inspired decor and accessories for the city’s well-heeled. The selection is a chic mix of modern and vintage styles: damask-print cushions, Victorian-style birdcages and traditional concrete bunnies share space with clean-lined vases, chrome lanterns and trendy black chandeliers. French and Russian linens, artisanal soaps and sumptuous scented candles add an extra touch of boudoir elegance.
