Soaring ceilings, painted brick walls and original wood floors provide a lovely foil for the collection of elegant European furnishings within. A hand-carved Louis XVI settee is treated to a burnished silver finish, and looks radically modern when upholstered in a print of bright pink and white orchids ($4,500, plus fabric). Classic bergère chairs, imported from Italy and graced with luxurious down- and feather-filled cushions, are also on offer, along with custom glass-and-iron coffee tables and antique French armoires. The lighting selection presents such unusual pieces as chandeliers from France that feature stylized branches and birds ($905–$4,500); and giant fuchsia, pink and white feather ball chandeliers ($1,100–$2,200).
