Yonge Street’s most familiar Tudor-style storefront carries the look of wealth. This shows most marvellously on its chandeliered top floor, where a peaked ceiling, dark-stained panelled walls and an intricate stone fireplace provide the setting for formal pieces, such as a handmade mahogany English Chippendale dining room set and a Georgian-style three-drawer chest, handmade from Macassar ebony. For casual offerings, you’ll find the Hickory Chair line; notable pieces include a French country cherrywood dining table for $4,295. Italian-made furniture from Solva is exclusive in Toronto.
