Beautifully built solid-wood Ontario-made furniture is the speciality at this King West stalwart. Floor samples show the range: an exquisite writing desk with an Asian arts and crafts flavour done in tiger maple and makore, an African hardwood ($1,775); a kitchen bar with 1920s lines and a walnut-stained top ($3,750); and a lightly curved sleigh bed with a soft milk-paint finish (double $4,120–$4,190). Seventeen catalogues show some of the other options available—variations on desks, beds and armoires—and there are several drawers full of fabric and finishing samples.
