A masterful mix of quirky yet unfailingly stylish accessories (and the occasional piece of furniture) cover every surface of the shop—ceiling included. High and low coexist quite happily here, with antique, new and reproduction pieces commingling in surprising, often amusing vignettes that are the mark of a truly expert stylist. In one instance, a suede Mitchell Gold chair is an earthy juxtaposition next to a vintage Lucite table lamp and a glossy antique sideboard. Elsewhere, a $1,500 chair (handcrafted partially from horn), sits next to a bookshelf filled with affordable $10 martini glasses. There is evidence of owner Youssef Hasbani’s passions and travels in a grouping of gorgeous Italian Murano chandeliers, South American hand-embroidered cushions, and a standout collection of antique hurricane lanterns.
