A chic and simple two-storey shop filled with mid-century classics and artisan-crafted objects tempts admirers of clean design. Alongside such iconic chairs as the Brno, Wassily and Bertoia are Danish pieces from Carl Hansen, the shop’s most recently added collection. There is also plenty of CanCon, with hefty tables from Martha Sturdy, Sarah Richardson’s upholstered pieces, and hand-tufted and knotted wool rugs by Bev Hisey. Graphic artwork by Tracy Kendall packs a punch: The White Room ($500) is a floor-to-ceiling scroll of sewn paper scraps.
