This Queen East store is a must for pottery hounds: owner Martin Augsten has put together a fantastic selection of ceramics, specifically the bumpy, vivid 1960s West German pieces known as Fat Lava (tabletop vase $40; up to $300 for a large floor vase). A bright display case houses vintage costume jewellery and a collection of enamel-painted copper bowls and plates. The tiny storefront is just an advertisement—there’s enough room here for a teak floor lamp ($130), some blue-and-white Midwinter dishes ($15–$35) and a few 1940s blond wood side tables ($145 for the pair)—most of the big furniture is in a storeroom around the corner. If you’re looking for a specific piece, just ask.
