Several antique stores share the same building at 1605 Queen Street West, but this one is distinguished by its vintage-modern mix of industrial, Danish modern and refurbished office furniture, plus its “scientific” and one-of-a-kind items. A striking refinished vintage American work table could also be a kitchen island ($995), while a mitosis biological chart from 1938, with great graphics and a rare black background, is a deal at $495. Standouts in office furniture include a General Fireproofing Mode-Maker desk in clear-coated metal ($1,295), and a small-scale teak credenza (less than six feet in length) that goes for $895.
