Stylish but conservative in tone, Stylegarage offers condo-friendly furniture with clean lines, solid construction and few frills or flounces. A club sofa with button-tufted cushions is about as country club traditional as it gets. All of the sofas feature kiln-dried hardwood frames and come in a variety of styles, from full-backed comfort (the Tightback, from $2,600) to a model so minimalist it looks like a bench with a back (the popular Slipper sofa, from $2,200). Many of the store’s sofas, sectionals and chairs come in a variety of fabrics—most are fully customizable—and the store’s modular dressers (from $2,250) and credenzas (from $1,750) can easily be rejigged through the addition or subtraction of doors, drawers, shelves and finishes. Spiffy accent pieces include an I-Beam table made of one-inch-thick polished acrylic ($325), and a cubist-style stool in Macassar ebony or zebrawood ($399).
