This all-white atelier provides a showcase for the city’s talented young furniture and accessory designers. Decidedly modern, the pieces on display are all Canadian designed and produced. Noteworthy is a line of soft seating by Vancouver’s Molo ($140–$750). Made of expandable honeycombed kraft paper, the chairs fold up to the size and heft of a dictionary. A concern for sustainability can be seen in the works of local phenoms the Brothers Dressler, whose Onedge Rocker ($1,700) is made from one sheet of plywood; pieces by Covello Reesor use oak veneer and low-density fibreboard to create sleek little tables and rockers that are easy to transport and don’t off-gas. Check out co-owner Shaun Moore’s line of desks and tables (from $2,400), made from walnut and powder-coated steel, and Tamara Rushlow’s vases (from $85).
