Optimism, imagination and luck are the tricks to navigating this rambling 23,000-square-foot warehouse. The shop stocks both low- and high-end goods, such as a sleek, modern Italian sofa with chrome legs for $1,520. Dining tables are piled with vintage china and flatware (including some lovely specimens with bone handles). Charming silver-plated serving pieces make good hostess gifts: a gravy boat can be had for $18, a pretty engraved tea tray for $25. The shop has expanded into the space across the hall (dubbed ...Of Things Past Too), stocking such fine antiques as a French armoire with a centre mirror and lovely ormolu detailing for $4,800.
