Looking like a cross between a sci-fi set and a retro showplace, this funky Parkdale outlet showcases both vintage pieces and contemporary designs. Upstairs, there’s everything from a vintage baby carriage ($275) to a custom Sputnik chandelier ($1,200). A comfy teak couch ($970), cast iron tables (from $600) and a 1950s Steelcase desk continue the post-war vibe. Throughout the store, local designers (including Koma owner Jamie Cheveldeyoff) show such works as a low glass table with a cast iron base made from an old wood stove ($427).
