Owner Fritz Lev makes several Euro trips a year to source unusual and beautiful antiques. The store also sells Canadian pieces and consignment items, and a full range of nautical bric-a-brac (a personal passion of Lev’s). On any given day, you might find a French baker’s table in painted cast iron, with a beautifully worn marble top ($12,500), just like the one seen in the film Chocolat, or a massive pine corner cupboard ($2,695) from Holland. But Inquisitive is also a great source for affordable pieces, too, such as a small Victorian pine bedside table ($495).
