Brian Clish, owner of this tiny shop on West Queen West, frequents estate sales throughout the Eastern Seaboard (New York state, Massachusetts, New Jersey). The fruits of his labor—antique furniture, artwork and lighting from France, Italy, America and England—make for rich pickings. A 1930s mirrored silver-leaf four-drawer credenza ($2,495) and a clamshell-shaped console table by André Groult ($2,500) await shoppers. Tiny consoles and mahogany sideboards sit alongside a French fruitwood buffet, all of them surrounded by raffia walls adorned with Cana-dian and American landscape paintings. A rare late-18th-century painted and gilded Swedish overmantel mirror is $7,900. Clish also has an eye for lighting, most of it early 20th century. On one visit, a 1940s Venetian chandelier, dripping with hand-blown glass drops, was $2,495.
