In summer, this floral atelier makes for a luscious spectacle: heaps of delphiniums, orchids, lilies, hydrangeas and roses, all bundled in buckets. Up to 10 designers are at work, creating (among other things) tightly bound bouquets. The result is almost surreally lush, with blazing yellow, electric pink and intense blue (centrepieces from $85). At Christmastime, wreaths might be adorned with trimmings of juniper, magnolia leaves, cones and sprigs of berries.
