Flooded with natural light, the spacious showroom holds one of the city’s best selections of flooring. Not be missed are the wall-hung panels of engineered and solid hardwood, in ash, maple, birch, oak and merbau, in various finishes and plank widths ($5.50–$16 per square foot). Unwieldy flip books showcase samples from Torlys, whose lustrous laminates (from $3 per square foot) could be mistaken for hardwood. Low–volatile organic compound hardwood from Model is a good option for kids’ rooms, and comes in several jazzy colours (from $11 per square foot).
