This petite Little Italy storefront isn’t much bigger than the apartments of the cool College Street girls it aims to impress, but it’s brimming with on-trend, won’t-break-the-bank finds—savvy shoppers could outfit an entire bachelorette pad here. Owner Julie Fass has turned what used to be her grandfather’s leather goods emporium—it still bears his nickname—into a haven of low-key cool. Make a rental bathroom look like a model suite with luxe soaps and lotions from Lothantique; stock bare cupboards with chic (and harder to break) stemless wineglasses from Riedel ($11 each); and dress the table with basic-but-stylish white dinnerware (16-piece set, $78.50). Accessories to spiff up a boring room are a strong point—an Artecnica white brass chandelier adds whimsy for $235.
