Teatro Verde

For 10 years, this eclectic shop has been helping York-ville dwellers fill their homes with decorative goodies from its selection of high-end accessories, tableware and gift items. Globe trotting co-owners Shawn Gibson and Michael Pellegrino are constantly on the lookout for fresh ideas, so the offerings at Teatro Verde are always unique and sparkling with personality. Go glam with a draped crystal lamp ($895) or, for a more modern take, try a chic crystal-base lamp with a black dupioni silk shade ($595). Designer cushions are an easy way to add flair to your home, and the selection here, which is mostly custom-made, includes elegant fabrics (painted velvet) and textures (beaded tapestry cushions), and ranges from $150 to $700. Stylish tableware is a specialty: choose between a black and white garden-themed luncheon set and Kate Spade’s classy demitasse sets ($99), which come packed in hat boxes.
