Dozens of fairy lights hang from the ceiling of this Rosedale boutique, in the form of vintage, antique and reproduction crystal chandeliers. Several lights are handmade, including a French crystal and wrought iron piece ($1,695), and a frothy 1930s Italian confection with several swags and drags ($895). Floral scents waft on the air, courtesy of a large selection of bath oils, soaps, scented candles and perfumes imported from Europe. These powder room essentials are displayed in a setting that resembles a 19th-century French apothecary shop, complete with Lampe Berger fragrance lamps, Murano glass goblets, and glass jars filled with bath beads. Antique settees and beds are strewn with floral-patterned pillows and quilts fit for a royal trousseau. Flowerpots and fountains are available in summer.
