A regular stop for north Toronto decor enthusiasts, Jacaranda Tree draws shoppers in with its constantly changing collection of English country–tinged housewares, linens, china, toiletries and vintage furnishings. There are also plenty of hard-to-find-elsewhere items, such as old-fashioned fine cotton hankies ($4–$20); attractively designed plate stands and wires ($5–$50); and French, Russian and English table linens. The second floor houses one-of-a-kind vintage and reproduction furnishings, mainly of the humble-but-beautiful variety—such as a three-quarter-size carved wood spool bed ($700).
