Hardware

The creeping gentrification of Queen-Broadview Village is good news for Hardware. Customers range from local loft dwellers to Rosedale matrons. Large, sturdy pieces fashioned from reclaimed doors and floorboards are the main draw. Interesting pieces are scattered throughout: a salvaged oak tabletop paired with raw metal legs ($4,200) combines industrial and shabby chic; mirrors are framed in reclaimed baseboards ($695–$1,800). Handsome armoires and sideboards are another highlight ($1,800–$4,000). Owners Murray Duncan and Jordan Tabachnik design their own line of vintage lighting, in wood and metal.
