The exterior of this uptown giftware haunt has a welcoming bistro-style awning. Inside, the small space sets a placid tone; the colour scheme moves from vanilla to pink to café crème; the aesthetic here nods in the direction of country-estate chic. There are crisp antique linen hand towels (from $65), European decor books ($45–$110) and etched Italian wine glasses (from $12). For the tabletop, glazed ceramic and pewter dinner and kitchenware by Arte Italica are plainly pretty. Among the choice fine-milled soaps, lotions, bath salts and scented candles from Shelley Kyle and Lady Primrose, the shop shows a select grouping of antique pieces, such as 19th-century French crystal chandeliers (starting at $2,495) and hand-painted marble-topped consoles ($2,800).
