Once a coach house, this miniscule Rosedale shop is so adorable it might as well be made of candy and staffed by elves. The furniture and accessories are just as whimsical: the tableware from New York designer Michael Aram—leaf-shaped china ($10–$110), dainty twig-shaped cutlery (starts at $18), bird-shaped place card holders—looks fit for a banquet of elegant wood sprites. Giant oxidized-copper bowls lined with gold leaf ($79–$500) are more objet d’art than dinnerware; his-and-hers coffee mugs with Andy Warhol designs, patterned with gold-leaf cherubs, seem too artful to sully with coffee. Owners Terese Sears (a Global TV reporter) and Arminé Tatosian also design a handsome line of furniture: drum-shaped ottomans ($350) and clean-lined couches ($1,800–$3,500) are all covered in fresh, natural-coloured linens.
