This 3,200-square-foot glass-fronted temple to design will make shelter-mag junkies salivate. It specializes in accessories for the home and jewellery for the body, as well as a small sel-ection of furniture from (among others) Toronto’s Brothers Dressler. Grouped along its high brick walls are cherry-picked champions of the design world, with choice offerings from such names as Stelton and Georg Jensen. Alessi is represented, but so are less-well-known names, such as Denmark’s Knud Holscher, whose LightArch candle holder features interlocking stainless steel candlesticks, so you can make your own arrangement ($220 for three; $70 per additional candlestick). Baubles for the wrist—watches from Issey Miyake, Starck and Nooka—join those for the ears and neck, with insouciant aluminum and copper alloy works from Germany’s Step by Step, and braided stainless steel from designer Barbara SilverStein.
