Owners John Hogan and Joe Clement stock what you might call eclectic funky pieces. There’s everything from vintage costume jewellery (some with designer signatures) to an Ike and Mamie commemorative plate to a walnut Edwardian tallboy ($875). Chandeliers hang from a crowded ceiling beside gorgeous pressed-glass bowls from the 1920s to ’40s (from $250). Table lamps might be delicate, hand-painted items from 1950s China (pair $475), or an over-the-top crystal number with a custom shade ($475). And don’t miss the basement. The ceiling is low and the prices lower, with a solid walnut dining table that seats eight selling for $2,500, and a slightly worn deco dresser for $250. After nine years at this location, Hogan and Clement are veterans of the trade and happy to negotiate most prices.
